Age 79 of Woodbury, MN

Passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 14, 2023 after a short illness. Preceded in death by parents Norman Warness and Ruby Bloom. Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Sheila, children Ron (Kim), Rebecca (Chris) Wilcoxon, Terry (Angie), and 6 grandchildren- Cassidy and Cierra Warness, Nate and Sophia Wilcoxon, and Melina and Jonah Warness. Also survived by a large extended family and many friends.

Ron was born in Spicer, MN and raised in Orr, MN. Ron moved to the Twin Cities in the late 1960s and began a career in the computer field. He worked in IT support at the U of M, retiring in 2007 after 35 years of service. Ron was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed traveling, photography, and genealogy.

A memorial will be held at O’Halloran & Murphy, 575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul, on Thursday, March 23rd, 4-7pm, with the service at 6pm.
