Richard Tschida

Richard M. Tschida, age 90 of St. Paul. Richard was preceded in death by parents, Mary and Michael Tschida; sister, JoAnne (Gary) Lyon. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Marie (Bour) Tschida; children, Michael (Mary) Tschida, Marie (Joseph) Heitzinger, David (Mandy) Tschida, and Charles Tschida; grandchildren, Richard, John, Benjamin, and Lila Tschida, and Jacob Heitzinger, as well as many nieces, nephews, & friends. Lifelong resident of West 7th Street. Graduated 1949 from Cretin High School. Retired from BNSF Railroad after 43 years as a machinist. Passed away peacefully in his sleep in the home he built in 1955. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 24th, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Francis de Sales, 650 Palace Ave, St Paul, MN. The service will be livestreamed at facebook.com/StFrancisOfStPaul/  Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Lung Association.
