Rebecca “Becca” Irene (nee Farniok) Schuette, age 60, of St. Paul, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the University of Minnesota. Becca Schuette was born on May 16, 1961, in Watertown, MN. She was the daughter of Raymond and Vivian (Johnson) Farniok. She attended Arlington-Green Isle High School where she graduated with the Class of 1979. A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. with a Memorial and Time of Sharing beginning at 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021, followed by a luncheon at O’Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home, 575 S. Snelling Avenue, St. Paul. Becca worked for the State of Minnesota for 25 years as a Program Administrator. She also previously worked at Anoka County in their human services department. Becca loved to read, sip wine, play Fantasy Football, and spend time with her grandchildren. She had a gift in her ability to put everyone at ease with her gorgeous smile. Becca is survived by her family, loving partner and companion, Leon Tetzlaff, who shared 30 years together; her sons, Jeremy Schuette (Jaclyn) of Bettendorf, IA, and Nigel Schuette (special friend, Alica Schmidt), Monticello, MN; grandchildren, Colton Schuette, Mason Schuette, Skylar Schuette, Harper Schuette, and Izabella Schmidt; mother, Vivian Farniok of Arlington; brothers and sisters, Ray Jr. (Mary) Farniok of Arlington, Betty (Ari) Aristides of Plymouth, Marianne (Dan) Steinborn of LeCenter, and Bruce Farniok of Shakopee; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many relatives and friends. Becca is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Farniok Sr. and an infant brother.
