Joe passed away peacefully on June 27, 2022, after a 16-month brave and courageous battle against cancer. Joe was surrounded by his caring wife Kayleen and family members as he passed. Proceeded in death by his parents, Mary Ann Gorman and James R. Gorman and his brothers, Robert and Michael, all of Saint Paul.  Joe is survived by his loving wife Kayleen Caulfield and their dog Uno; siblings, Patricia Blumberg (Robert), John Gorman (Christine), Thomas Gorman (Susan), Maureen Butler (Wesley), and Molly Gustafson (Ted); and the nieces and nephews who he loved very much: Kevin, Daniel, and Claire (Gorman); Mary Ann, Peter, Joseph and Clare (Gorman); Patrick (Butler); Christopher and Daniel (Gorman).

Joe was born in Saint Paul on September 13, 1967. He attended St. Mark’s Catholic grade school. Graduated from Cretin High School and the University of Minnesota. Joe worked for over 30 years alongside his mother, father, sisters and brothers at the family business, Midway Liquor Store. Joe was a generous, caring, and loving man who will be greatly missed by many of the people he touched. 

A Celebration of Joe's Life will be held on Tuesday, July 12 from 2:00-5:30 PM at the Mendakota County Club, 2075 Mendakota Drive, Mendota Heights, MN 55120.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Joe’s name to the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet in Saint Paul would be appreciated.
