Passed away peacefully January 23, 2022

Joan was a people person, who always looked for the good in others. She worked at Desnick Bros. Drug for 10 years, and the Midway Target for 14. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Lorraine and George Kanada; and sister, Suzie Kanada. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gerald; daughters, Jennifer and Jacqueline; brothers, Leslie (Bonnie) Kanada, George Jr (Vicky) Kanada, and Duane (Teresa) Kanada; sister, Georgette Kanada; aunt, Sharon (Eugene) Hendricks, and many other nieces, nephews, and friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 28th, 2022, with visitation one hour prior, all at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 515 S. Albert St., St. Paul. Interment at Elmhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice 2076 St. Anthony Ave. St. Paul.
