Arnold “Arnie” J. Kubasta
November 8, 1941 – December 11, 2021
Arnold “Arnie” Kubasta, age 80 of Eloy, Arizona died December 11, 2021 after battling cancer.
Arnie was born November 8, 1941 in Lindgerwood, North Dakota, the son of Laverne and Evelyn (Novotny) Kubasta. He served in the United States Army and worked for C.S. McCrossan until an accident in 1983, which forced an early retirement. He had a passion for buying and selling anything from snowmobiles, motorcycles, classic cars, boats to firewood. He loved riding his Harley and spending time with family. Arnie always had a smile on his face no matter what was going on.
Arnie is survived by Karen his wife of 57 years, Daughters Barbara (Martin) Hanson of Hayward, WI and Brenda (Mark) Heisser of Keller, TX and granddaughter Mackenzie Heisser and grandson Christopher Heisser. Siblings Norman (Mitzi) Kubasta, Von (Brian) Stoen and Irene Billbe, Sister-in-Law Bobbie Kubasta, Lorraine Kubasta, Marlys (Ken) Svare, Carol Rodewald, Brother-In-Law Jerry McDonald, Wallace Rodewald, David (Joyce) Rodewald, nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jan (Bob) Norton, Larry Kubasta, Dave Kubasta, Judi McDonald, Brother-In-Law Dene Billbe, Kermit (Audrey) Rodewald, Verdon Rodewald, sister-in-law Charlotte Rodewald, father and mother-in-law Henry and Martha Rodewald, Nephew, Shaun Norton, Niece Deborah Varno and Kelly Breidenbach.
Inurnment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery for immediate family only.
Meet in assembly area #6 by 10:15am burial time is 10:30am on Friday July 8, 2022
For Family and Friend’s we will have a Celebrating of Life held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at O’Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home, 575 South Snelling Avenue, St Paul, MN.
Visitation will be from Noon – 1pm, Service at 1pm and Lunch to follow. Service can be livestreamed from O'Halloran & Murphy's Facebook Page
