Obituary

Allan R. O’Shea

Passed away March 10, 2023. He was born on March 9, 1940, in MPLS. His passion for all things airplanes was only surpassed by his love for his wife, family and friends. Allan served in the Air Force reserves and worked as an airline mechanic until retirement. He was surrounded by family and friends the last few weeks of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Francis O’Shea; and sisters, Susan Krasny and Joan Teply. Allan is survived by wife of 61 years, Joanne (Nichols); daughter, Valerie (Roger) Carlson; sons, Doug (Andrea) O’Shea and Dennis (Jennifer) O’Shea; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Allan was kind, gracious and always had a quip ready for any occasion. He will be dearly missed! Thank you to Allina Hospice who walked with us through this difficult time, especially Grace, Marinella and Kathleen. Celebration of life will be held at United Church of Christ, 1000 Long Lake Rd, New Brighton, MN, 55112 on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 3:00 PM, with visitation two hours before.
